Located just outside Philadelphia in southern New Jersey, Letterbend is the creative studio of Shane Romeo. With 15 years of design experience working with small and large businesses in the fields of healthcare, real estate, education, and product development, Letterbend delivers bold, thoughtful design solutions throughout the east coast.
As a senior level designer at Independence Blue Cross, Shane has spent the last decade designing compelling branding, event installations and experiences, and a variety of print and digital campaigns throughout the Philadelphia area.
Shane is also the design director of The Towncast, a podcast started in 2020 that focuses on supporting communities impacted by COVID-19 in northern New Jersey. Originally created to shine a light on small businesses and the impactful people who operate them, The Towncast has since grown into an award-winning 501(c)(3) organization that provides community events and enriching programs for families throughout the east coast.
In 2024, The Towncast was awarded the Silver Award from the 4th Annual Anthem Awards, the largest and most comprehensive social impact award. Out of over 2,300 applicants, The Towncast was one of fifty to win an award in the category of Education, Art & Culture.
